Meet the Barrier Base — The Final New Base | Hero Wars: Zombie Virus

 We’ve shown Overdrive. We’ve shown EMP. Now it’s time for the third and final new base.

Meet the Barrier Base, commanded by Brick & Tess.

The Barrier Base is built around Shield Generation. Every time the ability activates, it generates shields for the base and nearby allies. The shield is equal to 30% of Max HP, giving nearby units some extra protection while they keep fighting.

That gives each of the three new bases a different role:

Overdrive Base — boosts nearby allies

EMP Base — weakens nearby enemies

Barrier Base — protects nearby allies

A Zombie That Throws Other Zombies?! | Hero Wars: Zombie Virus

                                    

I ran into a pretty strange enemy in HERO WARS: ZOMBIE VIRUS this time.

At first I thought I was seeing things, but nope — this zombie was actually throwing other zombies into the battle.

After dealing with that for a while, I stopped trying to figure it out. I used Stimpacks and decided to just push through everything in front of me.

First Look at the New EMP Base | Hero Wars: Zombie Virus

                                     

Another new base is coming to HERO WARS: ZOMBIE VIRUS.

This time it’s the EMP Base, commanded by Echo. While the previously revealed Overdrive Base focuses on supporting nearby allies, the EMP Base takes a different approach by disrupting the enemy.

Its ability, EMP Shockwave, periodically weakens nearby enemies and reduces their attack.

The video below shows a quick look at the EMP Base and its ability during battle.

This is the second of the upcoming new bases I’m showing, with more to come.

First Look at the New Overdrive Base | Hero Wars: Zombie Virus

                                   

A new base is coming to HERO WARS: ZOMBIE VIRUS.

This is the Overdrive Base, commanded by Nova. Its special ability is Combat Acceleration, which periodically enhances the combat abilities of the base and nearby allies, including increased attack speed.

Turning Enemies Into Allied Zombies | Hero Wars: Zombie Virus

                                      

I tried using the Zombie Infection booster in this battle, and it ended up being more useful than I expected.

Enemies killed by infected zombies become allied zombies, so the longer the fight continued, the more zombies started appearing on our side.

Once the numbers began growing, I just kept the push going and let the infection do its thing.

It was a fun way to finish the battle. 🧟

Destroying the Enemy Troop Dropship | Hero Wars: Zombie Virus

The enemy had a Troop Dropship facility that could transport units and drop them into our base, so I decided to make it the target.

Once we pushed far enough forward, we reached the facility and destroyed it. From there, we were able to finish the battle.

A simple target, but taking it out made the difference.

Made It to Gold | 1v1 PvP in Hero Wars: Zombie Virus

 

Finally made it to Gold, so here’s another 1v1 PvP match in HERO WARS: ZOMBIE VIRUS.

This wasn’t a crazy battle. It actually started pretty slowly while both sides were building up. Once the front line began moving, though, I managed to keep the pressure on and eventually reach the enemy base.

Sometimes a simple push is all you need.
